Alongside Matt and Barney, Ed Hornsby and Neil Sykes offer coaching, including access to our swing and putting studio. Neil specialises in ladies' and junior academies, while Ed runs the Midlands Golf Academy, coaching golfers of all ages and abilities.

Junior Coaching With Neil
Junior Sessions - Easter 2025
Free for Copt Heath Junior Members! Each session will will cover lots of etiquette, rules and on course decision making. They will be on the following dates:
Mondays 4:15 - 5:30
Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:30 & 5:30 - 6:45
Fridays 4:15 - 5:30 & 5:30 - 6:45
Saturdays 12:30 - 1:45 / 1:45 - 3:00 & 3:00 - 4:15.
We also have sessions for non members of Copt Heath on the following dates (£25 per person). As the sessions are longer than the after school classes, nine is the minimum age for these lessons.
Monday the 14th of April 9:00-12:00
Wednesday the 16th of April 1:00-4:00
Thursday the 17th of April 9:00-12:00
Friday the 18th of April 1:00-4:00

Ladies Coaching With Neil
Ladies Academy
We have six regular group sessions that take place for our ladies academy. We do have a couple of spaces for these lessons but people attending these will need some golf experience. The Wednesday AM session is for more experienced golfers with either a handicap or working towards one. We are usually course based for this lesson. Here are the times for the groups:
