Meet the Coaching Team
PGA Professional golfer Ed Hornsby founded and runs the Midlands Golf Academy, coaching players of all abilities and ages so that they improve their swing and enjoy the game of golf. Neil Sykes, our assistant professional runs classes for young golfers both at weekends and during school holidays.

Our qualified PGA professionals are dedicated to helping you enjoy better golf. Ed and Neil offer group and private tuition as well as a range of services including our performance swing and putting studio and custom fittings.
Our teaching PGA Professional Neil Sykes has a very friendly approachable style with a focus on developing each golfer to the best of their ability.
Neil played to a high level representing Warwickshire County and has spent the last fifteen years coaching golfers of all levels.
Neil provides both individual coaching and group coaching and has a very busy schedule with his Ladies and junior academies. Neil is a certified Trackman coach and uses a state of the art facility at Copt Heath which is brilliant to track your progress. Coaching young golfers has always been a huge passion of Neil's and he spends time working in schools and with local businesses to develop his coaching platform. Tuesday's 4:15 - 5:15pm

£15 Per Session payable in block of half terms.
Maximum 6 juniors per group.
Advanced Junior sessions every week in term time (April - October)
Tuesday's 5:30 - 7:00pm

Saturday's 3:10 - 4:40pm
Sunday's 3:10 - 4:40pm
£20 Per Session payable in blocks of half terms.
