This is another outstanding risk and reward hole. If a player wants to gain the advantage of getting a wedge or lofted iron in their hands then a longish tee shot needs to be hit over the road and into the left half of the fairway. Too far right, even on the fairway, and the trees will block out the second shot and a similar penalty exists for the tee shot hit too far left.
A safer tee shot is less demanding on accuracy but will leave a much more demanding second shot.
Not only is this hole tactically superb but it houses magnificent trees of great beauty. Good green housing good pin options back right and back left together with a slopey front.
